This pair of earrings marks IVY GAO's first exploration of MOKUE-GANE metalwork, created as a quiet tribute to Thai Artisan Ponk Smithi, whose craft sparked the inspiration. Hand-formed into soft concave domes, the earrings feature natural swirl of copper and silver that echo the spirit of MOKUME GANE.

Each piece is shaped individually, allowing imperfections, asymmetry and pattern flow to remain as part of character. Rather than replicating tradition, TRIBUTE DOMES reflects a response to it, a begining shaped by curiosity, respect and the hand's intuition.
